(Poem) The Roles I Have Lived

I can not say, the Roles that I have played

For to me life has never been any type of game

I have lived several lives in the past 50 years

Abused Children are never taught how to live

Why do some Adults treat Children with despise

I have been blessed to have a few good friends

Long term friends can be so very difficult to find

After an hour with me most people hate or despise

Found a good lady, she and God have kept me alive

To say I’ve never hurt anyone would be one Hell of a lie
